ROBBERY

 

On July 2, 2014 at approximately 4:30 a.m. the Brantford Police Service attended the Brantford General Hospital and met with a 46 year old man who had been assaulted. The victim was receiving medical attention for serious head injuries.

The victim reported that he had attended at a local liquor establishment in the area of Market Street and Chatham Street on the evening of July 1, 2014. The victim was befriended by three unknown patrons at the business and all four carried on conversations inside the bar. Sometime after closing time of the business the four parties left the business together and walked along Market Street. The victim reports being ‘sucker punched’ and lost consciousness. It is believed that the victim was assaulted further due to the extent of his injuries. The victim was robbed of his black leather wallet.

At this time it is unknown the exact location of the assault. The assault took place sometime on July 2, 2014 between 2:00 a.m. and 3:15 a.m. The victim travelled from the area of Market Street and Chatham Street to Colborne Street in the area of Peel Street. Police are looking for three individual’s two men and a female.

#1) a white man, 5’6, 180 pounds, short dirty blonde hair with a bit of facial hair

#2) a white man with dark hair, between 5’6 and 5’8, medium build

#3) a white female with long dark hair
